YES! The Friendship Center is open during the COVID-19 crisis to provide food and nourishment to our community.
The Friendship Center fosters hope and dignity through access to food, vital resources, and critical social services. What began in the basement of North Park Covenant Church in 1970 has grown into a full-scale pantry that operates four days per week and provides groceries for 2,000 people every month. The Friendship Center serves the Chicago northside neighborhoods of North Park, Albany Park, Lincoln Square, Ravenswood, and West Ridge.
